Energizing a Greener Tomorrow

In 2023 5 community groups were able to join a 2 year Community Energy Pathways programme which was funded by Suffolks Public Sector Leaders as part of their Climate Emergency work to help Suffolk become Net Zero. This is being delivered by Community Energy South.

Community Energy Pathway

The Community Energy Pathways programme was set up to help local people set up community solar initiatives, innovative heat projects and electric vehicle charging. The programme offered support to groups to offer vital energy efficiency advice and support for the vulnerable, resulting in lower energy bills.

A Greener Way to Power Your Business and Home

Since 2013, Community Energy South has provided support for a network of community energy groups in the south-east of England. They have been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of community energy solutions. In recent years, they have added support for capacity building in the south-east and north-west of England empowering communities to lead on the future energy needs of their localities. Their vision is fort every District or Borough council to benefit from community energy. They want each council to have a Community Energy Network to support their areas to achieve Net Zero.
